Shannon Galipault is Miss Garden Grove 2015, and Josie Pearce is Miss Garden Grove's Outstanding Teen. The two were crowned during a lively Wizard of Oz themed show held at the Saigon Performing Arts Center in Fountain Valley. The young women competed in talent, question / answer, fitness and evening gown categories. The winners receive scholarship money and have the opportunity to compete for state and national titles. They painted one box to look lika a strawberry field, another is orange crate art. Garden Grove's Earth Friendly Products welcomed Jim Jones from the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Mr. Jones was given a tour of the facilities including the production line, lab and solar paneled roof. The EPA is partnering with Earth Friendly Products and some other select companies that meet their high standards for protecting the planet.
