The Finance Dept provides services to the following operations:
The City of Garden Grove, the Garden Grove Sanitary District, Water Enterprise Operations, Garden Grove Agency for Community Development, Street Lighting Assessment District, Orange County Regional Airport Authority, Garden Grove Community Foundation, Fire Training Authority, Garden Grove Housing Authority, and the Garden Grove Cable Corporation.
The Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting has been awarded to the City of Garden Grove by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its fiscal year 2006 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
All persons who operate a business or perform services in the City of Garden Grove are required to apply for a Business Operations Tax Certificate in addition to any zoning or other regulatory permits which may be required. (Actually, Business License is a misnomer for Business Tax Certificate.)
