The City of Garden Grove Public Works Department will host its annual free Open House on Saturday, October 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the City’s Municipal Service Center, located at 13802 Newhope Street, between Trask Avenue and Westminster Boulevard.
This once-a-year event draws large crowds to see, learn, and experience some of the unique features and services provided by the Public Works Department.
A variety of booths will offer hands-on learning activities in areas such as landscape, waste management, water services, traffic engineering, and street maintenance.
In addition, families can enjoy games, opportunity drawings, exhibits, equipment displays, prizes, food, and entertainment.
Department staff members will be on hand to answer questions related to all areas of Public Works.
