2010 Calendar and Directions
Project GO has been remarkably successful because of citizen involvement and volunteer participation.
- Removing graffiti is an on-going work project for local service organizations.
- Youth groups from churches, social clubs, and scouting organizations have volunteered hours of labor.
- Local corporations have donated supplies and recruited volunteer employee work groups.
- Alert citizens report graffiti as soon as they see it.

WHO CAN HELP? - - -
YOU CAN!
Volunteers are the strength of Project GO. That's what is so great about this program. It works because it is community-based with volunteers who are concerned about the appearance of Garden Grove.
If you can lift a telephone receiver
-or a paintbrush, if you can organize others into a work group, you can be part of Project GO.
You can help by:
- REPORTING unsightly graffiti as soon as you spot it.
- DONATING your time, labor, funds, or paint.
- ORGANIZING neighborhood, club, or church work groups.
- VOLUNTEERING for several hours.
HOW DO YOU HELP
It is as easy as can be - simply:
Report graffiti anywhere you see it in Garden Grove. Donate your time and labor - or paint and other supplies. Organize neighborhood work parties.
If you have a group willing to donate time and labor, call the Graffiti Hotline and the City will coordinate efforts to provide the paint and other supplies you need.
If you spot someone painting graffiti, report it right away. Your actions could result in a reward for you when the perpetrator is convicted. Call the Garden Grove Police Department immediately at (714)741-5704 if you see someone defacing property.
