  City Hall Closed, No Street Sweeping Christmas and New Years Day
In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays, Garden Grove City Hall and the H. Louis Lake Senior Center will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2014 through Thursday, January 1, 2015. No street sweeping services will be provided on December 25 and January 1. Streets will be swept as scheduled on all other days.

Trash pick up will be delayed by one day the remainder of the week. Also, there will be a free pick up of holiday trees during the two-week period following Christmas Day, beginning Monday, December 29 through Friday, January 9. Trees must be out by 7:00 a.m. on regular trash collection days. Flocked trees are not recyclable and are not eligible for the free collection, but may be disposed of in the regular trash container or by scheduling a bulky item pickup.

The Alzheimer's Association of Orange County hosts a support group to provide an opportunity to meet other caregivers and families, share experiences, and exchange ideas. These meetings are free and open to all caregivers and family members of individuals with dementia. All groups listed are in compliance with chapter and national standards.
