Celebrate the City’s 60th Anniversary, and help improve the safety of pedestrians and bicyclists in Garden Grove. The City’s Active Streets Draft Plan will be featured at a community workshop booth at the Diamond Jubilee Celebration on Saturday, June 18, in Village Green Park, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The community is invited to stop by the booth to provide input on ways to improve bike lanes, trails, and routes in the city.

The goal of the Active Streets Master Plan is to promote healthy sustainable living in Garden Grove, and help residents make better connections to their daily destinations by providing safe access to local parks, schools, workplaces, shopping, and dining, as well as to destinations in other Orange County communities.

For more information about the Active Streets Master Plan, visit the Garden Grove Active Streets website or contact Erin Webb, Garden Grove Economic and Community Development Department, at (714) 741-5313.
