The biggest shopping day of the year—Black Friday—goes “BiGG” by offering Garden Grove shoppers a chance to win some extra holiday cash. From Friday, November 28, 2014 through Friday, December 19, the City’s shop local program, Buy in Garden Grove (BiGG), and the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce will reward customers who make at least $50 in Garden Grove purchases, with a chance to win $500.
For every $50 in total register receipts from local Garden Grove merchants, customers will receive one raffle ticket towards a $500 cash drawing. If purchases were made at a participating BiGG business, or from a Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce business member, customers will receive one additional raffle ticket.
Businesses that participate in the BiGG program offer special shopper discounts or incentives. Participating businesses can be accessed HERE. BiGG businesses and their accompanying discounts can also be seen through the Garden Grove Mobile App via the Shop and Dine tab. Chamber of Commerce business members are listed on the Chamber website.
Receipts must be taken to the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce office, at 12866 Main Street, Suite 102, Garden Grove 92840, to receive raffle tickets. Raffle tickets will not be available at business establishments. The first 100 customers to turn in their receipts will also receive a free thank-you gift from the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce and the City of Garden Grove.
The deadline to turn in receipts is by 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2014. Participants must be at least 18 years old to win.
From all the entries received, one winner will be chosen and the winning name will be posted on the City of Garden Grove and Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce websites and social media, on Monday, December 22, 2014. Winner must present winning raffle ticket to the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce within 30 days to claim their prize.
