Groove to Motown classics at Garden Grove's last free summer concert on Thursday, August 13, 2015. Relive your favorite hits as tribute band Stone Soul plays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Eastgate Park, 12001 St. Mark Street.

Don't miss the finale of the 2015 Voice of Garden Grove, beginning at 6:00 p.m. For the past four weeks, 15 local high school students from the Garden Grove Unified School District have vied for a chance to perform this Thursday for a shot at a $500 cash prize and another $500 donation to their school's choir program.

The five finalists representing Bolsa Grande, Pacifica, and Santiago high schools will sing a 3-minute song each, in hopes of winning over the judges and taking home the title '2015 Voice of Garden Grove.' The students competing this week are Alex Cobb and Mariah Abato from Pacifica High School; Anna Pham and Amber Tran from Bolsa Grande High School; and Johana Castillo from Santiago High School.

Various vendors will be selling food and refreshments, including gourmet food trucks, like Dogzilla, OH MY GAGA, and SOHO Taco. For the safety and enjoyment of all, no canopies, golf carts, or alcohol is permitted in the park.

Share your thoughts! Concert questionnaires can be filled out online by visiting the Garden Grove Community Foundation website. Let us know what types of bands you would like to see in the future and which ones were your favorite this year.

Don't forget to participate in this week's social media challenge, hosted by the City of Garden Grove. During the first half of the night, concert goers who tweet or post a photo on Instagram with the hashtag, #ggsummerconcerts, will be automatically entered into a competition to win a special giveaway. The Twitter user with the most retweets and the Instagram user with the most likes on their post will win a Garden Grove tote bag at intermission.

The 2015 free Summer Concert Series is sponsored by the City of Garden Grove, AT&T, GKN Aerospace, and Republic Services.
