2015 GGP LOGO Print.jpgBeauty comes in all shapes and sizes -- just ask a Garden Grove Pride Judge. The 42nd annual Garden Grove Pride Awards, which recognizes the finest-looking homes in the city, is seeking volunteer judges to select the most beautiful. Judges do not have to be Garden Grove residents and are encouraged to work in pairs.

The volunteers first select one of the city’s 17 zones to review, then drive through that zone and choose the top 23 best-kept homes, including one “Home of the Year.” Each zone is comprised of approximately 2,500 single-family homes and judging averages five-to-ten hours over a one-month period.

The winning homeowners and judges will be honored at the Garden Grove Pride Awards Ceremony on Monday, June 1, 2015, hosted by Mayor Bao Nguyen and Garden Grove City Council. The 17 zone winners, and the “Best Water-Wise Home” are also eligible to participate in an on-line voting contest for the title of Garden Grove’s “Best Home and Garden.”

To serve as a volunteer judge, please call the Office of Community Relations at (714) 741-5280 or sign up via the City’s website by Monday, March 16.
