The Suffragettes, an all-female cover band, come to Garden Grove on Thursday, August 4, 2016. The band, playing today’s top 40 hits, will rock Eastgate Park, 12001 St. Mark Street, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Opening the stage at 6:00 p.m. are five local high school students competing for a spot in The Voice of Garden Grove finale. The students representing Bolsa Grande, Garden Grove, Los Amigos, Pacifica, and Rancho Alamitos high schools, will perform for a chance to move onto the finals on August 11, for a shot at winning a $1,000 prize – half of which is donated to the winner’s high school choir.

Those who participate will receive an exclusive giveaway during the concert at the Garden Grove Community Foundation booth, while supplies last.

Food and refreshments will be available for purchase including items from OH MY GAGA, Mustache Mike’s, and Fun-O-Cakes food trucks. As a reminder, EZ-ups, golf carts, or alcohol are not permitted in the park.

The final 2016 summer concert features The Answer, playing on Thursday, August 11.
