This is the final week for Garden Grove businesses to sign up for the free “Let’s Put our Cities on the Map” workshop, presented by Google and the City of Garden Grove. Participants will learn how to create, or improve, their Google online business listing to better connect with customers. The workshop takes place on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at 6:00 p.m., in the Garden Grove Courtyard Center, located in Village Green park, at 12732 Main Street.
According to Google, nationwide, 4 out of 5 people use search engines to find local business information, but only 37% of businesses have an online listing.
Workshop participants will receive hands-on instruction to create or enhance their free, individual online business listing on Google Search and Maps.
Participants must bring their own laptops and have a valid Garden Grove business license on file with the City. All participants will receive free Google t-shirts and other Google giveaways.
Reservations are limited, and can be made by emailing your name, phone, and business name to firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (714) 741-5280. RSVP’s can also be made HERE. More information is available on the City’s Facebook and Twitter, and at www.gybo.com/ca/garden-grove.
