Spark-of-Love_0.jpgGarden Grove firefighters are again coming to the aid of disadvantaged children in the community through the annual Spark of Love Toy Drive. The campaign will run from Monday, December 2, 2013 through Tuesday, December 31, 2013.

The Spark of Love Toy Drive is sponsored by ABC7. Garden Grove firefighters are joining Southern California firefighters from Orange, Riverside, Los Angeles, San Bernadino, and Ventura Counties and asking local communities to help families in need during the holiday season by donating new, unwrapped toys or sports equipment. Monetary donations and gift cards may be dropped off at Garden Grove Fire Station 1. Checks should be made payable to the Orange County Toy Collaborative. Toys may be dropped off at Garden Grove City Hall, at 11222 Acacia Parkway, as well as at all seven Garden Grove Fire Stations:

Gift cards and monetary donations can also be made to the Orange County Toy Collaborative in care of the Society of St. Vincent De Paul, Council of Orange, 1505 E. 17th Street, Suite 109, Santa Ana, CA 92705, Attn: Demetria Lee.

Toy Request and Family Referral sheets are available at all Orange County fire stations, as well as the Society of St. Vincent de Paul office, at 730 N. Garfield Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92701.
