City Partners with Port of LA for Trade Workshop

The City’s Office of Economic Development will be hosting a free Trade Connect Introductory Workshop, in partnership with the Port of Los Angeles. The workshop takes place on Wednesday, April 4, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Community Meeting Center, at 11300 Stanford Avenue, followed by a networking reception, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Civic Center Pond Closing for Maintenance

Garden Grove’s Civic Center pond, located in Civic Center Park, at the cross streets of Stanford Avenue and Euclid Street, will be closing for maintenance on Monday, March 19, 2018 to Monday, April 2, 2018. For the safety of park visitors, the pond will be fenced off to the public during the two-week project. Maintenance activities will not disrupt the park’s wildlife.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for SteelCraft Garden Grove well-attended by community

On Monday, March 5, 2018, SteelCraft held its Groundbreaking Ceremony for the eatery’s forthcoming second location, SteelCraft Garden Grove. The family and dog-friendly outdoor urban eatery is slated to open Fall of 2018.

The Dig is on for Easter Eggs

It’s that time of year for Garden Grove’s 10th annual “Eggs-cavation” event on Saturday, March 31, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Atlantis Play Center. Atlantis Play Center is located at 13630 Atlantis Way in Garden Grove Park. Only 300 tickets for egg hunt participants are available.
