Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over this Holiday Season

From now until Monday, January 1, 2018, GGPD will work around the clock to keep the streets safe as they mobilize for a special year-end “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign. As part of the safety effort, a DUI checkpoint will take place on Friday, December 29, 2017, from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., at an undisclosed location within city limits.

Garden Grove Dog Park Reopens After Two-Month Improvement Project

Garden Grove Dog Park, located at 13601 Deodara Drive, in Garden Grove Park, is now re-open for public use. Hours of operation are from dawn to dusk, seven days per week. For more information about Garden Grove Dog Park, contact the City’s Community Services Department at (714) 741-5000.

City Hall Closed, No Street Sweeping Christmas and New Year’s Day

In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays, Garden Grove City Hall will be closed from Friday, December 22, 2017 through Monday, January 1, 2018. Street sweeping services and trash pick-up will not be provided on December 25 and January 1.
