National Night Out in 2015

The Garden Grove Police Department invites the community to celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at King of Kings Church, 13431 Newhope, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for East Division, and at Eastgate Park, 12001 St. Mark Street, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the West Division.

In an effort to prevent crime and build safer and stronger communities, this night is intended to educate community members about the Neighborhood Watch program. This event encourages and motivates residents to join an established Watch in their area or create a new one if one does not already exist.

Participants will learn about the importance of developing a relationship with the Garden Grove Police Department and Neighborhood Watch groups and get a chance to meet Crime Prevention Officers, Beat Patrol Officers, and other members of the Community Policing staff. This annual event is designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners.

For more information, please visit the Facebook event page or contact the police department at (714) 741-5761.
