During the month of January, the City of Garden Grove will celebrate its rich and diverse cuisines by participating in Visit California’s 2017 California Restaurant Month, a month-long celebration of culinary assets. Starting Sunday, January 15 through Sunday, January 22, 2017, prized restaurants from the Vietnamese communities, Historic Main Street, and the Grove District – Anaheim Resort will be featured during Garden Grove Restaurant Week. Local and regional foodies will have an opportunity to try something new in Garden Grove.
“Garden Grove Restaurant Week is a unique opportunity to take advantage of some of Garden Grove’s most authentic culinary experiences,” says Community and Economic Development Director, Lisa Kim. “This is the first year that the City is participating and many of the local restaurants are offering exclusive culinary experiences that showcase the pride of many family signature recipes.”
Other “taste of” events happening throughout the week include a rare opportunity to cook with Executive Chef Hany Ali from the Great Wolf Lodge Southern California.
Garden Grove will be joining more than 50 destination partners who are hosting restaurant weeks and special events during the month of January, shining lights on the many talented people and places in California.
