Garden Grove Dog Park, located at 13601 Deodara Drive, in Garden Grove Park, is now re-open for public use. Hours of operation are from dawn to dusk, seven days per week.
The Orange County Superior Court is actively seeking qualified volunteers throughout Orange County to apply for service on the next Grand Jury. Completed applications must be received by January 26, 2018. The one-year term begins June 29, 2018. The City of Garden Grove encourages those who want to make a difference in their community to apply.
Every fiscal year, the Court is required to recruit a Grand Jury that represents all areas of Orange County. The requirements to serve include:
The community is encouraged to participate in the City’s end-of-year Buy in Garden Grove (BiGG) campaign, Black Friday Goes BiGG, starting next Friday, November 24, through Friday, December 15, 2017. For every $50 in total register receipts, Garden Grove shoppers will have the opportunity to win $500, and two, one-night stays at the Great Wolf Lodge Southern California.
Garden Grove Dog Park’s reopening has been tentatively postponed until early-December 2017, while renovations take place. Garden Grove Dog Park is located at 13601 Deodara Drive.
The Garden Grove Community Services Department presents the annual Winterfest holiday event on Saturday, December 2, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at Atlantis Play Center. Atlantis Play Center is located at 13630 Atlantis Way in Garden Grove Park.
Today, Garden Grove City Manager Scott Stiles announced the appointment of Community Services Manager John Montanchez, to serve as the City’s new Community Services Director. Montanchez begins his new position on Friday, November 3, 2017.
