The division is responsible for emergency response that include fire, medical aids, rescues, hazard mitigation, and other calls for service. The Department employs three battalion chiefs, one training officer, and 84 suppression personnel that respond from seven fire stations with seven engines, one truck company, and one paramedic squad. The Fire Department responds to approximately 15,000 calls for assistance annually.
