PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
CITY OF GARDEN GROVE
Notice is hereby given that the Garden Grove City Council will conduct Public Hearings at the Garden Grove Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Avenue, Garden Grove, California 92840 on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, and on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, beginning at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard, to receive public input on district boundaries, consider proposed district maps for the formation of six council districts with a Mayor elected at large for district based elections commencing with the regular elections in November 2016. The City Council will discuss and consider, and take action on one or more districting map(s) submitted during the districting process undertaken by the City. The City Council’s action may include modification of district boundaries, action on which four City Council districts will hold elections in November 2016 and which two City Council districts will hold elections in November 2018, adoption of an ordinance establishing the districts, and such other matters as may be related to formation of six City Council districts. All persons desiring to provide oral or written comments for, against, or about this matter may appear and will be heard at the Public Hearings.
