There is a lot of truth to the phrase, "Children drown without a sound." Anytime your kids are going to be in or around the water, you should always designate a responsible person that will watch the water and area around it. This person will be dedicated to not be distracted, and not look at their phones, read, carry on conversations, or do anything else that may take their eyes and attention off the water area.

Please share with your family and friends. This single act may save a life.

  • Always swim with a buddy
  • Have children wear a U.S. Coastguard-approved life vest - This is not a substitute for watching your kids
