Passport Services Discontinued

Effective Wednesday, July 1, 2015, the City of Garden Grove will discontinue providing passport services. Currently, there are 48 locations that provide passport services within a ten-mile radius from Garden Grove City Hall. City Lowers Flags as Sign of Respect to Charleston Victims, Families

As a sign of condolence to the families, and respect to the victims of a hate crime shooting that took place yesterday in a Charleston, SC church, the City of Garden Grove will fly all city and state flags at half-staff.

Garden Grove Fire Joins MDA for Fill the Boot

City Chooses New City Manager from Cincinnati

At tonight’s special meeting of the Garden Grove City Council, the City Council concluded a five-month nationwide search by unanimously appointing Scott C. Stiles as the new city manager. Stiles, a former assistant city manager for the City of Cincinnati, Ohio, begins on August 3.

Community Meeting Center Under Temporary Closure

The City’s main meeting facility for public and private events, as well as Garden Grove City Council and City Commission meetings, is now temporarily closed while interior renovations take place. The Garden Grove Community Meeting Center, located at 11300 Stanford Avenue is tentatively scheduled to re-open in early 2016.

Sun in Forecast for Thursday's Police Memorial

The 28th Annual Call to Duty Police Memorial takes place on Thursday, June 11, at 5:00 p.m., in front of Police Headquarters, at 11301 Acacia Parkway. The event is open to the public. Police Chief Todd Elgin officiates his first memorial as the department's newest chief, offering his personal homage to Garden Grove's five officer's killed in the line of duty: Myron Trapp, Andy Reese, Donald Reed, Michael Rainford, and Howard Dallies, Jr.
