Location of crime: 9122 Garden Grove Boulevard

Victim: Albert McElroy

Case Synopsis: On 5/20/1962 at approximately 2245 hours, Albert McElroy age 54 was working as a gas station attendant with Hancock Oil and Gas Service Station located at 9122 Garden Grove Boulevard. Customers were pumping gas and saw two males walking from the service station. The two men were dressed like sailors wearing blue US Navy uniforms with white sailor caps. The customers went looking for the gas station attendant and discovered Albert McElroy in the men's room. Albert McElroy sustained injuries to the head and later died from his wounds.
