National Night Out flyer

The Garden Grove Police Department invites the community to celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Village Green Park, 12732 Main Street, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This event is hosted by the Garden Grove Neighborhood Association and Garden Grove Downtown Business Association.

In an effort to prevent crime and build safer and stronger communities, this night is intended to educate community members about the Neighborhood Watch program. This event encourages and motivates residents to join an established Watch in their area or create a new one if one does not already exist.

Attendees can enjoy free hot dogs, games, prizes, and activities. The Magnolia Park Family Resource Center, OCHCA Every Woman Counts, Garden Grove Animal Care Services, Boys and Girls Club, Garden Grove Main Library, H.O.P.E., and more will be in attendance.

Participants will get a chance to meet Crime Prevention Officers, Beat Patrol Officers, and other members of the Community Policing staff. This annual event is designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners.
