Swim Lessons- Woodbury- Spring 2- (L3) Dolphin
For children 6-15 who have PASSED the Seal level. Children in Dolphin are able to swim 10 yards (30ft) completely unassisted in front and backstroke, jump into deep water, and tread water for short periods. New skills include introduction and development of elementary backstroke and breaststroke, dolphin, and sidestroke kicks. Dolphins also work on refining side breathing. IF YOUR DESIRED CLASS IS FULL PLEASE CALL 714-741-5200 TO GO ON THE WAITLIST. Should a participant wish to cancel or change a class after the registration process, there will be a $5 processing fee per class. Refund requests must be made one week prior to the start of the first class or program.

Individual instruction for all ages is available in a series of eight (8) lessons, 40 minutes in length. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO REGISTER FOR A SEMI-PRIVATE: 1) Choose only one student to enroll in a private lesson. 2) Contact a pool manager to add remaining students. Semi-Private Lessons (2 or 3 children per class) will be offered at those times not being used for group lessons. A series of four (4) lessons, 40 minutes each in length will be arranged with the Pool Managers. Please call 714-741-5200 on the registration date to be placed on the waiting list.

Taekwondo for Kids
Taekwondo will teach kids characteristics that enforce honor, integrity, self-control, goals, courtesy, loyalty, and assertiveness. The classes are beginner programs and kids will learn basic kicking techniques, punches, blocks, and basic self-defense forms. Students are required to have a martial arts uniform by the first day of class in order to participate. Uniforms will be available for purchase from the instructor for a nonrefundable fee of $50. This class is for first-time students only. If interested in re-enrolling, please contact the instructor directly.

Vovinam Martial Arts
Vovinam is a Vietnamese martial art, founded in 1938. It is the development of communicative intelligence, athletic body, noble mind, self-control, self-defense, self-esteem, and perseverance in a non-violent spirit. Self-defense for all levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Students are required to purchase a unique Vovinam martial arts uniform for $35. There is a $20 non-refundable annual membership fee.

Young Rembrandts Pastel Workshop - Art History with the Masters
This Young Rembrandts workshop is full of possibilities! Join us for pastel fun as we learn about a new medium and explore art history by studying different artists and their work. We will crate large drawings in pastel chalks. We will create wonderful artwork while being inspired by Edvard Munch's The Scream, Pablo Picasso's Woman with Hat, Vincent Van Gogh's Chair, Wassily Kandinsky's Bavarian Market Square, and Claud Monet's Regatta at Argenteuil. The results will be truly frame-able! No experience necessary. Please wear an old shirt or smock to class each day.
