City Volunteer and Resident Participation Program

Adopt-A-Park Program

The Adopt-A-Park program allows individuals, groups, and companies to take on a project for the benefit of the community. Adopt-A-Park provides City parks the care they deserve by donating labor, materials and funds. For more information on how you can become involved, call (714) 741-5372.

Adopt-A-Tree Program & Memorial Tree
As a result of reductions in State revenue to the City, the Public Works Department has reduced its Services by ten percent. These necessary reductions have resulted specifically in the elimination of staffing in the Street Trees Section of the Streets Division. This affects how and to what extent the City’s urban forest is managed. One of the significant elements of this reduction is that no new street trees will be planted at this time. It is our hope that economic factors will change and when this happens, the tree replacement program will be restored. Until then, we ask you for your patience and thank you for your understanding.

Project Go-Graffiti Off
Project GO is the City's graffiti removal program. Volunteers make the difference by donating time, labor, paint supplies and funds. Volunteer "paintouts" are held one day per month on Saturday and are sponsored by the City. For more information on how you can get involved or to report graffiti for cover up, call the Graffiti hotline at (714) 741-5381. To report graffiti in progress, call (714) 741-5704.
