City Manager's Office

Welcome to the City Manager’s Office webpage!

It is my deepest privilege to continue serving the City of Garden Grove as the City’s first female and AAPI city manager. Along with the duty of overseeing the daily operations of our eight City departments, are the responsibilities of carrying out the policies and directives established by our Garden Grove City Council, maintaining fiscally-sound annual budgets, and ensuring that our community is safe and well-informed, among many others.

Each day, a team of over 650 talented and dedicated City employees focus on providing essential programs and services to residents, businesses, and visitors, that range from public safety to parks and recreation.

Garden Grove is a wonderful city, filled with hometown spirit and vibrant cultural and spiritual diversity. You see it all around, from our iconic Garden Grove Strawberry Festival held annually over the Memorial Day weekend, to the colorful and bustling Little Saigon and OC Koreatown areas.

Our city offers families a nationally-recognized school district (Garden Grove Unified School District), new and upcoming housing options, outstanding restaurants, shopping areas, parks and walking trails, and other community amenities, also enjoyed by many warmly-welcomed visitors.

Our Grove District resort area, located alongside the Disney Resort, continues to grow and expand with new 4-star hotels, including a Nickelodeon Resort, coming in the near future. The Great Wolf Lodge water park resort draws crowds year
round.

Investment in our city continues strong as businesses turn to Garden Grove to establish or expand their operations which provides new jobs, revenues, and other quality-of-life benefits to the community.

I’m thrilled to share in the excitement of Garden Grove, and thank you for being a part of it!
