The Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program provides funding to: (1) engage homeless individuals and families living on the street; (2) improve the number and quality of emergency shelters for homeless individuals and families; (3) help operate these shelters; (4) provide essential services to shelter residents, (5) rapidly re-house homeless individuals and families, and (6) prevent families/individuals from becoming homeless. For more information and resources about ESG, visit HUD Exchange website at www.hudexchange.info/programs/esg.

The City of Garden Grove is a recipient of ESG funds annually from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and allocates the resources to subrecipients to rehabilitate and operate emergency shelters and transitional shelters, provide essential social services, and prevent homelessness.

The following is a list of service providers who have received 2017/2018 ESG funds from the City of Garden Grove.
