The goal of the Water Services Section is to provide sufficient and safe water at the lowest possible cost to the City’s residents. To meet this goal, we believe it is our responsibility to provide the public proper guidance and education on all aspects of water. If you would like information about a specific water topic, or have any comments, please contact the Water Services Division at (714) 741-5395. Garden Grove's water supply comes from two sources; imported water from Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Met), and local groundwater. The Water Services Division is responsible for maintaining the wells, reservoirs, import water connections, and the distribution systems that deliver water to your door.
To meet the increasing demand for water in the densely populated Southern California Region, the Orange County Water District (OCWD) and the Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD) are working together on a groundwater replenishment system.
Information on sewer services can be found on the Garden Grove Sanitary District page.
